inside hood release to optional through the grill release?

can you change an internal hood release to have a behind the grill hood release?

Nomally I would want the extra security of not being able to open the hood without pulling the release inside, but for the project rig it would be nice to release it up front if there was a fire or something /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif

yes if you swap the center vertical bar behind the grilel that the latch assembly bolts to, and the latch assembly, yep, you will have to cut otu a couple bars of the grille, gm changed where the lever handle is located a couple of times, some are in the center and others offset, gm changed this stuff every couple years, its kinda complicated,

lemme know exactly what years of stuff you have and are going to and ill get you info on what you need to do what you want to do exactly.
