Nice looking tire carrier. I would have never thought of using a van door latch.

I havn't taken the truck off road since the install.I screwed up on the messurements as it sits over to the left too much.The edge of the tire actually covers a portion of the tail light.I may have to cut it and extend it to the right about 1.5".
I have poorly balanced tires and at 60mph it sets up a harmonic and the carrier starts to bounce a little.Slow down to 55 or go up to 65 and the bounce dissapears.I'll be getting the tires balanced soon,hopefully that will cure the bounce issue.Thanks for the comments so far.

Just updated the pic's with some shots of the carrier powder coated.Also included pic's of the plans I drew up.They contain accurate messurements of each piece of the tire carrier.Last 8 pic's of the album are new.
