If you look on there site it will be obvious. I had to since the directions I got were a really bad copy of something really bad.

but anyway i decided against watchin tv and went to the man cave and dug out the n.o.s. 205 case i have and some spare modifyed shift rails .

mocked it all up and figured it out my self . looking at the parts layed out it just wasnt making since to me was all. :dunno:

p.s. got to love a engine stand for hanging more than a engine off it.

I reused the factory pins over using the random hardware they sent with the kit. I wasnt too impressed with the whole deal. It does shift nice though.

cool man .

and ya i did this before but this is a lot more and different . ( pic )

reason i got this twin stick is my stocker is just way to stiff and have to force it a lot. its a low miles unit from 1988 k30 and also i live in the rust belt so there is lots of reasons . and i plan on droping the case to install modifyed rails at the same time. and mabye even my extra 32 spline front shaft i saved for it. just need to find a flat flange for stock c/v head shaft to 32 spline now.

and i go get longer bolt than thay send with the smooth shanke 95-100% the length i need for full use like the pins and then shim with a washer as needed. and cut off the extra thread length and then use the locknuts on full final assembly.

well last friday i took the truck to my buddys shop and used his empty bay with lift.

removed the old 3/4 frozen stock linkage and shifter parts. then i started the install of the new ord twin stick kit.

not much pic wise of install since under dark body and to tight for pics. but here it is in with floor cut open for new shifters AS I HAVE 2WD CAB and lower floor pan.

then today i took the new base plate in the ord kit and made my own sides for it to match the fllo pan shape .

also welded 4 screws to the bottom for studs to hold the trim ring/boot in place .

last is installed / welded in place and quick coat of flat black he had on hand to keep from rusting.

yep no floor covering. just the steel floor only in my bare bones rig.

next year will pull tcase and install modifyed shift rails for full twin stick use.
