Are you talking about the steering arm? Big F'ing hammer

Re: iNSTALLED 4\" LIFT BUT.....

It's been a while since I did it, but I think you can jack the weight of the vehicle or axle on it and then just pound like crazy with a BFH.

Big F'n hammer huh! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Is it just stuck and needs to be banged off, I cant even get in a position to get a good hit without hitting something else /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif.. Does it matter where I hit or do I have to hut upwards?? /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif

Re: iNSTALLED 4\" LIFT BUT.....

Hit it up and down, left and right, and front and back until it finally pops. (There are cone washers around the studs that you're trying to pop free - if you can pry them out or get a screwdriver and spin them, then it should be easy after that)

Re: iNSTALLED 4\" LIFT BUT.....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't you also loosen the nuts and drive around the block a few times to pop it free? /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif Being careful of course /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
