i just finished putting the 14b in my 3/4 ton silverado, and the drivers side leaf spring bolt doesn't sit properly in the mount on the axle. there is a very small gap but the bolt is in the hole. should i grind the bolt down a little bit or will it be alright.
Thanks in advance,
Cole

you want that to be very tight. if it has a gap because the threads stick to far out of the nut too far, then yeah grind them down. if that is not the reason then you have other problems.

the center pin hole on the axle perches 99% of the time are full of rust and dirt. take a grinder bit and blast that junk out. or a hammer and center punch will work also. all parts of the spring to axle need to be flat as possible to seat the best.
