Nice search function!

What all do I need to do, to install the 56's up front? Just move the front spring hanger, and add the extended shackles I bought from Kert, to the rear of the spring? I got the 6 inch shackles

i put 57 fords up front on mine, and thats all i did, move front hanger infront of bodymount 6.5" shackle.

how well did they flex??did you use the 2.5 inch wide ones or the 3 inch??how many leaves per pack??the reason i ask is i have 2 sets laying here and one has like 8 leaves and the other has 4 both are 3 inch wide..also how far foward did it move your axle??

i was try'n to poke fun at our/wheelers obsesion...''of just a little more'' attitude by using ferds 57 instead of a 56..

I used the fords cause they were free, and have read about them being more durable cause they are 3" wide. I got my info from this guy (Rob) on Pirate.
Heres the link http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=233733
There are 6 leaves in my pack one is a add a leaf thats the way they were when I got them. I havent flexed mine yet but Rob has had really good luck with the flex.

My axle went forward alot since I didnt move the shackles mount. BTW those front shackles are 6.5" and my WB is 113-115 with 63 in back but I moved the back axle forward alot. Stock my wheelbase was ~115-~120.
