anyway, again, its been a long time since i posted. im on other forums wih other hobbies but only k5 owners can feel my pain regarding installing a transfer case and tranny. i havent actually drove my 75 k5 in about 3 years. it has just been sitting there because of a tranny fluid leak. i kept a spare th350 and np203 in my garage since i parted out my previous 7 k5 about 4 years ago. they were both rebuilt prior to me parting out my old k5. anyway, i ust wanted to say what a pain in the butt to get them in and out. im older now so i used a cherry picker through the shifter whole to both take it out and install it. but back in the days, i used to just do it manaully getting it high enough on wood blocks and squeezing it in. wheni i separated the 203 and the th350, it seemed as though it was just leaking between the adaptor and the tranny. it was a pretty heavy leak that dripped down past the rear of the 203. it was also tranny fluid so i am suspected that this is where the leak was coming from. i had bought a new tranny pan and checked all the other areas that might leak and i found nothing. well, now that i have the rebuilt ones in, i am hoping neither one will develop a leak because if it does it again, i think i will be selling it. here is a site with a couple pics of my blazer.
