Okay so i have my body up on wood blocks and the frame is out from under it and im doing a few repairs, painting it and then going to put new body mounts under it and reassemble...my question is, is there any alignment that needs to be done between the body and frame or as long as the bolts all line up with the holes it will be good?

get it on. then get all fenders on and check for stight and if close and every thing opens / closes fine lock it down.

upstate ny ? were at ?

gotcha. fenders arent on right now and neither is front clip so would i have to install that to check for alignment because i wasnt planning on installing those til next spring ish.

You can always loosen the body bolts and adjust if necessary once fenders are on at a later date.

New question: i want to replace the body mounts with poly ones. Where is the best place to get these where all the hardware will come with them? I need bolts, spacers, washers everything...

I looked for all of the bushings and hardware together when I did mine, never found them. Ended up just getting the poly bushings from ORD and sourcing the bolts locally. The spring cups are usually a junk yard item.

so even the kit from lmc doesnt come with new spring cups...i dont really wanna reuse mine, they are in pretty bad shape.

Well, I stand corrected. :doah: I wish I would have found those when I did mine. I swear I looked, maybe those came out in the last 3 years.:dunno: I had to piece mine together from 4 trucks as I didn't have any to start with.

EDIT: Then again @ $240.00 I like the way I did it better.
