To install it do i have to also drop my fuel tank? How hard is it to do? thnx this is an 84 k-5 with the smaller tank

installing Class three hitch

You can do it without dropping the tank. Most quality hitches that come with hardware also come with little wires that thread onto the bolts that you use to fish the bolts through the holes.
With the smaller tank, you might not even need that. Just reach down the frame rail from the front and drop the bolts in place.
Don't forget the spacers.
Read the instructions all the way through first.

What brand is it?
Do you have all the hardware?
If you don't have the bolt backers and spacers, it's going to be very difficult to install properly.
