Installing fuel pump on 350

Take the old one off. If the pushrod falls down just stick your finger in there and push it up. If it falls down again take a bolt and stick it in one of the bolt holes in the front of the block (I forgot wich one). That will hold the rod. Then stcik the new one in and bolt it up. Then take the bolt out of the front of the block.

Also try coating the rod with grease so it will stay up in there easier and turn the engine by the crank and see if the rod will go up in there more.

by crank you mean by hand?
