Intake exhaust crossover

I just want some opinions on using the mr. gasket exhaust heat crossover plugs on the intake manifold are they good or bad? the intake is a sb edelbrock performer eps. dont plug em if you use temperature controlled choke

heat under carb will warm up carba nd therefore fuel, which doesnt help performance
