BJ Baldwin is the clear winner here. SCORE just posted a reply on their FB page saying they are reviewing the evidence. Hope they do the right thing.

There is very little that is safe about spectating a Baja race. Honestly looked like they were camped way too close to the race course etc.

People need to understand that in a racing situation rational thought processes are not at the front of the mind. It may look like the driver has complete control etc. at all times but there are times that he is literally riding the semi guided missile.

My advice for anyone spectating a race is to park at least 300' off course then walk to within 100' and watch. Stand and have a clear exit path at all times. If you want to sit go back to your vehicle to sit. If it looks like you need to exit do so don't wait to find out it's too late.
