interior for the 86..modern ac!!! and late model seat mounting..

Well I started calling around today, and I decided I really want grey leather in the 86 /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

problem is I am in az /forums/images/graemlins/yikes.gif


soooooo


I talked to a guy who restores and does nice work on 1st gens, he showed me a aftermarket ac set up using r-134. The ac was blowing 43 degrees at idle /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

the set up is about 1000 bucks, but is way more efficient, smaller packaged and cleaner lookig than the gm set up!

so looks like I will be yanking a motor now to smooth out a fire wall /forums/images/graemlins/woot.gif

also any body have pics of late modle seats, suburban, tahoe ect in a blazer?

I figure once I finish getting the 99' dash in, new carpet and seats this thing will be purrdy /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

ideas comments? other sources for aftermarket ac?

Well if you use late model interior, use the center console and get an MTX thunderform box to hide your sub. Found one on E-Bay today Cool Sub Box

this is exactly what i want to do. is there a kit or do i have to find some 1 to do if for me? i really wana get like a fancy 00 yukon interior put in my k5. the chicks dont like rust and holes in the floor.

I think rather than putting my 99 dash in the 86 I will put it into the 72 I am working on, I dont see myself keeping the 86 for too long /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
