How much does a sheet of Alumabrite cost?
How big is the sheet?
Where do you get it?
Do you know if it can be bought in a plastic?

The Alumabrite or diamond plate can be bought in any size up to 4'x8' sheet at least. I think it's a little more common though up to a 4'x4'. Price is all over the place. Thickness is a factor as well as design. The most expensive I've seen had a "certification" for some fire truck standard. The cheapest is usually at a yard which deals in used metals.

Why the holes in the top of the bedside panels?

Holes are for access to the topper nuts. The way the fiberglass body is made, the bed quarters are boxed in (so there's a fiberglass panel that's molded into the floor and top rails behind the alumabrite). I could have not put anything there but that would have been a drab interior, or tried to get the line-x guy to make the side panels a different color. BUt I didn't think about that.
I screwed that one up tough, had I thought about it more, I should have made a long strip of metal and welded some nuts to it, slide it in from the taillight pocket and screwed it down with countersunk screws from the top rails to hold in place while the top is off.
But, too late now. I was trying to find some nice little hinged access covers, but I think I'll just cut bigger pieces of diamond plate and screw them over the holes.

Im fabbing up some Vinyl soft panels for the sides that will be attached using snaps so I can use them as extra storage!!
