Interior Roll-Bars

Hey guys, I noticed my 79 Jimmy has a rear interior roll bar, I want to know if any of you guys have them, my K5 in High School didn't have one and all 3 of my broncos never had, but as part of my plans to make this truck a DD/Trail Runner I thought a bit extra security is in order, so I pulled the stock? midsection roll bar off my dodge ramcharger mud rig that I'm selling to put into my jimmy's mid section, I'd like to see what your thoughts and/or opinions would be on this case.

I'm included a picture of the roll bar I pulled for reference purposes, and please don't mind the dent in my door, someone hit my truck and took off a few days ago, that's been happening a lot around here.

i got one that looks just like that never put it in yet. i got it fro free was gona use it as a starting point for a cage.

I can't remember what year blazer it was but a guy owed me sum money and said well I will give you a roll bar out of my blazer but it doesn't go to the frame it bolts to the floor and to the inner fender.
