for the love of God. Where can I buy a stock interior spare tire mount?!.. The 3 legged one that bolts to the rear pass wheel well - the floor and the top of the bed rail.. Any info on where to get one would be great. I can't find one anywhere.. Thanks!..
 
ive literally never seen once for sale. my 91 had one from the factory and was gone when I got it. never saw or found one. Good luck to you

^^ I know eh?!.. Such a silly random part that once upon a time there must have been thousands of.. And now there are no used ones out there which seems crazy and and nothing aftermarket.. Can't believe it!..

My sentiments on the Vic Hickey stuff I've been searching for.

I actually found the spare tire mount you're looking for last month at a junkyard and pulled it out and bought it. I don't even have a K5 (I'm a Suburban guy), but bought it for the future in case I get a K5. Hope you can work out a deal with MAX89K5.
 
I saw one on craiglist this week in the houston area and they were asking stupid money for it, lemme see if I can find it and then you can decide....

^^ haha!.. Pretty sure you just take the item to a ups or fedex store and they'll tell you how much it'll cost to ship.. You just gotta put it in a box and fill out the shipping form at the ups or fedex store.. If you are actually up for sending it, PM me and we can work it out. Just tell me what you want for it and price out the shipping.. If we agree on everything I'll simply e-transfer you the $ and once you have it you just send it off.. No worries if it's to much fuss and you don't want to bother with it of course..
 
I got 2 as well if anyone needs one!
1 with all the hardware and one just the mount.
It will take me a little while to get them out of storage since I'm in bed due to my back surgery but I have them and they aren't going any where. If your not in a hurry.

I have also been looking, I have even been having a hard time finding pictures online for ideas of interior mounting as I do not want to add an exterior tire carrier just yet. Right now it is just bungie corded to the roll bar. Send me a PM if you have a mount and or pics of the stock mount/mounting location.
