Does anyone know if this type of carrier will work in the LWB or SWB of the regular bed styles? Maybe on the passenger side near the tailgate or the driver side right behind the cab so you can still fasten it to the wheelwell.

No idea, but I've got the stock looking one that came off my 77 c10 that put it right behind the driver in the bed I can get pics of for ya, and ill measure my k5 and truck and see If it would work. looks very possible though.

the tiregate, actually a hitchgate cause it connects to the receiver hitch is kinda pricey but I like it. Very well made and carries 2 5 gallon jerry cans (getting those tomorrow, will post more pics)

I like the tire gate, I was thinking about getting one, they cost a pretty penny, how is it? Any problems with it, Doest the gate swing easily? Got any more pics?

I am pretty sure this is the one you have, right?

thats it, cost about $700. Love it so far, the gate is adjustable, it swings open easily and you just tighten the bolt or loosen it a little to adjust speed of swing.
