Interior trim screw size

Mine were rusted. Oh...and I lost them all.

Now the trim is painted and ready to go back. What size screws do I need, please, to reinstall?

I don't know the size, but the screws are everywhere. Dash, doors and the metal trim on the door sills. Is there any to take a comparison? I have hundreds laying around. I could send you a bunch.

yup, #8 oval heads... most are 1/2"...

I don;t remember; do they have the ring around them, or not? Or are they just set to look countersunk? I think they were countersunk....

countersunk....

that's what oval head means.... there are some screws that use the built in conical washer, but not those trim pieces...

When I did mine I bought a box/bags of screws and washers from a guy that sold screws and fastener to the body shop by me. Much cheaper way to buy them.

The hardware store should be able to hook you up. LMC sells replacements in the correct lengths, but you'll pay a pretty penny.
