well, i need some opions.

i just redid the carpet on my truck, and left the well wheel carpet off, i got them in a box somewere. so should i put em on or leave them off?

I have owned several blazers and the wheel well carpet always gets dirty for some reason. Id make them quick detatch like maybe some velcro around the edges.

I'm going the way of bedliner in my interior, but yours looks really nice. I'd go ahead and finish the job and put the carpet on the fenders. Just looks odd with nothing there.

Of course, you could also paint them to match the carpet and side panels, and that would go a long way toward making it look great.

What's the trucks intended usage? I'm assuming since you carpeted the truck, your concerned about comfort and niceness inside. If that's the case, I'd put them on. Carpet on the wheel wells does alot to keep road noise from the tires out of the cab.

Undercoating on the inside? Alot of undercoatings never fully dry and are not recommended for use inside the cab. Not sure why, I was told its a fuming thing. Maybe check the label.

At any rate, A healthy coat of undercoating on the bottom side of the wheel wells will also cut back on noise and I'd agree, velcroing the carpet on for removal would work, however, seems kinda pointless to remove the fenderwell pieces and not the whole thing.... Resolve carpet cleaner and a little elbow grease does a good job.

rubberized undercoating never fully drys.


EDIT: the stuff your thinking of is the really old undercoating thats almost like tar.

something i might do is sand the stuff down so its smooth and paint it the factory blue.
