Did 1st gens have this as an option ? For some reason watching wipers run when they dont need to has always been a pet pieve of mine, so I wondered if it was an option on my 72 Jimmy.

I've never heard of that...but I'm sure somebody offers an aftermarket add-on to do it.

I'd check with a place like LMC. They do a retrofit for the headlight buzzer (when you leave your headlights on and remove the key) and they might have a similar type of modern upgrade for wiper functionality.

Thanks greg will look at lmc. Just started driving her again after 3 yrs. And a tranny rebuild forgot how aggravating it is to me.

I hope not. I understand the wiper thing being annoying, but one of the best things about these trucks is lack of gizmos. Personally, I don't like headlight buzzers, automatic door locks, low fuel alarms, seatbelt reminders, and all that other junk they load up in vehicles these days.

I'm a grown up, I don't need my truck treating me like a 2 year old.;)

Quoted for truth. :D:D

Yea, I'm trying to decide if my polyester seat covers help with the heat or hurt. I definitely want cloth seats. Even with the AC on I can be cool everywhere except my sweating back.

there's a guy on THF selling these F250 King Ranch near Waco with all the power stuff and heaters. Asking $700. I'd like to have them for my 72, just ain't dropping the coin right now.
