Internal Beadlock

I believe in a couple of years they.......

Will take over the beadlock market. First they need to make enough to get the prices down but that will happen and then the only beadlocks you will see will be the fake ones:rolleyes:

it really is a good idea...
Looks like it will work anyways...

I'd rather run these than do 4 billion bolts and only have on eside of the tire "locked"

Price - 150 a wheel isnt bad...

$600 a set seems steep to me......

VS $200 for external locks but as they sell more the price should come down & I will cut way back on making the external locks.....

I am buying a set as soon as I can. I have been wanting those since I first saw them.

I've thought about them, but seeing as how I have a trail only truck I decided that I'd rather be able to break a wheel down easily and went the Hummer rim route.

95% of the time you break the outside bead. you can run single digits with an ring beadlock too as long as its not a 16.5 rim. They dont have the bump on the rim to help keep the bead seated. I have read where the Stauns give you more control, the tire does not squish around as much since its got something to keep thr tire centered on the rim.

I will give them a try at some point but I will wait till the cost comes down. For now the ring type bead locks are fine with me, they have been a proven setup for many years. Hell my truck ain't done yet so I dont need to worry about breaking a bead anyways. :haha:

I meant basically in terms of catastrophic tire failure. If I need to put a tube in it to think about getting back to camp without completely tearing it apart. I'd rather be able to pull the valve stem and 8 bolts to get at it...rather than sewing it up with wire or something like that.

If you carried a spare it would be a moot point, but I don't and don't plan to.
