Introductions & Greetings

I'm a newb!

Hi everyone!
I just got my first real 4WD a 76 K5. I say real 4WD because my only other was a 95 S-10 blazer, more of a car with a little ground clearance.
I live in Parker Co, and hope to get to know anyone local. (that sounded like a bad craigslist casual encounter pick up line, not that I would know anyting about that:whistle:) I got the truck for 500$ it runs and drives good, but alot of rust as usual. So get ready for a lot of stupid questions from me about 4WDs and where to wheel at around here. I don't know much about 4wd but I can lower just about anything, I've always had 2wd's slammed. Thought it was time to try the other way(up). Maybe get some help wrenching on it, or get some good parts. I've always wanted a K5 just to take the top off, and it's already off. I got rained on the other day and couldn't have been more happy:D!! Anybody want to trade a 76 for a 75 or older? I want the whole top off! As you can tell I'm a little excited about my new toy and I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.:saweet::k5: (now if I can only figure out how to add pictures)

Hi guys. This is my first post on this forum. I was a looker for a while then made that "best $25.00 investment you could ever make" and now a member. I recently bought a very clean 88 K5 with every option I think chevy put on a blazer. This blazer is clean. I have done a lot of small things to because it sat for over 3 years, but it is coming around. This is a very good source of info for me. So thanks and Hi :D

Welcome aboard. $25 bucks is just the beginning if your not careful. Come by the Lounge on Friday evening, its BYOB night and this goofy kid Artzner likes to photochop members onto transvestite bodies so we can all get a giggle. Good times.:thumb:

Hi

Hey, I'm new, Thought I would say Hi and tell you about my Blaze. It's a 1973-1975 mixed bag of parts that's been rolled over. A buddy gave it to me for helping him get his '73-75 mixed bag moving. We're religious about full top blazers. I just bought a 1984 k2500 pickup for the dana 60 and 14bff, and another blazer carcass for a windshield frame donor. I got the idea to remove the blazers windshield frame and graft it onto the rollover victim from your site, and was inspired to join. it's a great site and will be coughing up my $25 bucks soon. Ever thought of a lifetime membership? I'm down with it if you get one going!

Hey all,
I am a marine living on the east coast. I got my 83 K5 when I turned 16 as my first car. it was in the family since birth and has gone from zona to MN all the way here. it is sitting stock but that will change. it has new paint interior after being young and rolling it. Its good to see something other then jeeps still wheelin often

hello from dixie

Hello everyone from colorado k5 love the sight. must have spent three hours searching all the tech stuff last night.great web site great people! We have a nice 85 k5 can't really afford to drive it right now though.cheaper to fix it up and make some modifications, than buy gas.anyone know anything about the propane conversions? I was hearing good things but now everyone is saying propane comes out hi as regular gas.

Hey everyone! My name is Andrea and I'm in CA. I joined the site a month ago. I bought an 82 k5 a month and a half ago and I absolutely love it! It's my first truck so I don't know much about fixing them, but I've been learning from a friend of mine. I have already met and went off roading with several other members in my area and they all have been great to hang out with and very helpful. Can't wait to meet other great people on this site!

Greetings from Canada eh? I'm Phil, I live on Vancouver Island in BC. I bought an '87 GMC 2500 a couple years ago to get through the nasty winter as my Jetta wasn't snow ready. It's got a 3" body lift, tbi350 sm465 np208. Custom bush/winch bumper, 36" Gumbo Mudders on 16.5" American Racing Bajas. I call her Bertha.

Her she is all pretty:
