Hi Ya'll

I've stumbled across this site several times over the past several years whiled researching 4x4 stuff.

Finally joined. I was an avid 4 wheeler in my youth, got out of it years ago. I have a 2wd sub I just fell in love with. It's big and ugly like me.

I just happen to have a 4x tranny & transfer case (NP 241), a new motor, so I figured why not do the conversion thing.

Believe it or not, I'm running 33 12.50's now in stock 2x form. Yes, it took some trimming, but it looks more rugged than most of the blvd. cruisers 'round here. And it handles great!!

Anyways, glad to be here, and yes, I like to take pics!

New guy. Live in Alaska and have recently caught the k5 bug. Really looking hard for a clean 69-72. Hard to find one that is not totally rusted out here in alaska.

Looking to learn more, and hey maybe even find a lead on one.

New guy from Tennessee

Hello everyone, I'm new to the forums and this is my first post. I recently acquired a 1983 k5 blazer. So far i've done the normal, changed plugs and wires, checked cap and rotor button, put on a set of flowmasters in place of the other mufflers the previous owner had installed. The truck runs great now but the body is in need of some tlc (which I plan on giving it) I just installed a rough country dual stabilizer today as well.

Only real question I have is that its on a set of 33x12.5sx15. Now I obviously know these are not stock, but it doesnt look like there is a lift put on the truck. Could this tire fit on the stock suspension, or is 31's about max. I knew this is probably very newbish of me, and ill probably find the answer tonight when I search the forum, but hey it never hurts to ask.

Thanks for the welcome and I hope to contribute soon.

Don't usually post much but here goes.Live in British Columbia Canada just finished building 79 Blazer with 6" front and shakle reversal rear 3" body and 44"boggers with a little fender trimming, run a 454 on propane for now but plan to go back to gas, turbo 400,205/203 doudler,14bolt rear and dana 60 front.Truck works good so far, have a few more things planned, but then are they ever finished?Looking for info on 205 e brake as I have rear disc conversion.Any info would be great and I'll search this site for info aswell.Have heard good things about this site and it comes up alot while googling, anways just thought I'd say hi
