1990 K5 Tires

Currently working on a 1990 K5 Blazer and am looking at new tires. Vehicle is stock with no sag. I figure 33's should work? Not planning on any rock climbing but do plan to play in the sand. Will 33's cause me any fender or any other problems? I like the look of stock and do not want to lift.
Thanks

Check the tire size thread on the first page of the Garage. Its a sticky so its at the top of the page. I am sure some one has it done.

Nice pickup Jake, I'm also new here & I'm 66, so some things take me longer to understand. My question is; how to upload a pic & post a message like u did.

Introduction

Hi im Daniel im from Texas, little town of navasota and I have been looking for a good forum like this for support and friends. I have an 82 GMC k1500 with a 350 carbureted, no drivetrain mods done yet but im lookin to slide under some 1 tons with 4.10's and eventually lock em. Ive got a 6'' rough country lift with 35/12.50/15 tires and am getting it on the roadd soon. I bought this truck about 8 months ago for $450 and it was in poor running condition. Ive replaced many things and now its up and running good now i have to get it street legal. This is a good forum for tech support and meeting people which is what I have been looking for.

Is there a European chapter? lol

Hello all,

Quick intro:

I'm David, 27 former resident of MA currently reside in the Netherlands where, once upon a time, I was born (long story).

I've recently acquired a '85 GMC Jimmy with a trusty (read SLOW) Detroit 6.2, already turned up the pump and removed stock intake restrictions etc.

It's purpose is to be my workhorse and with the gas prices being what they are here (aprox. 10 USD a gallon!!!) I chose the Diesel, although LPG conversion are also very popular over here...

My addicition is cars...and my taste is very broad. In addition to the Jimmy I have a '72 Beetle with a 2.0 Subaru engine, a '73 Dodge Dart with a fun 318, a '87 Wagoneer (back in the US). Just did away with a G20 I had for a few years as it just sat and didn't get used anyhow.

Found this site to be very helpfull in the past while looking stuff up on my buddy's rig and hope to contribute in the future.

David

Big Ass Trucks!

I'm not sure if this is the right place for me and what I play with.....but I've not found a forum for creations like mine!
I take BIG C-60/70s, shorten & subframe them, mount a dually bed in alignment with the cab, creating a Big Ass Truck. I am not allowed to post my website yet, but if you take my user name and add .com..........you are there!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Tate Armstrong and I live in Eagle, Idaho (Just outside of Boise). Unfortunately I was browsing the internet looking for a place to list my Blazer for sale :( . I don't really want to sell it, but given the circumstances, I must. My 1987 Blazer was built by my step father. He and his best friend worked on it for a couple of years (body-off restoration). Unfortunately he passed away before he even got to drive it! He died of a heart attach on the morning they would have finished the truck! I purchased the Blazer from my mom. I have a huge folder containing most of the receipts. It is completely restored mechanically with a hi performance Crate Motor, New Transmission, 4" Lift, Rancho suspension, 33X12.5X15 Tires. I have put less than 2K miles on the Blazer since it was completed. The paint is absolutely awesome! Everyone comments on this blazer! The only thing that it needs to be complete is a headliner and maybe new carpet. The carpet is in great shape, but it is slightly faded.

I would love to find a blazer enthusiast that would stay in touch after the purchase. I obviously have a sentimental attachment to this Blazer.

If you know anyone looking for a NEW 87 please pass my info along.

Tate
