My name is Patrick, live in Nebraska. Bought my first K5 3 years ago. Straight from a field... so alot of work to get it running/moving. Originally bought it as a snowplow, but this has evolved. I have been looking for a sight like this for a LONG time. You guys do a GREAT job... and there is a lot of GREAT info. Keep it up!!!

Greetings from Texas!

My first K5 was purchased back in high school. After owning it for two years, I sold it to get something better for college (gas mileage). 11 years later I found an 88' K5 that's beautiful. It is much nicer than the one back in high school, even though another decade had passed!

I look forward to spending some time on here with you knowlegeable folks!

Hi, my name is JC and I'm from a little town called Kapowsin in WA and I'd like to congratulate you if you know where that is lol. This is by far the best site I've found for modifying and GM truck. I have a stock '78 Jimmy. It was my first car and it's now going through surgery and getting a rebuilt engine transmission and transfer case after sitting for over a year. She has a lot of rust in all the common spots and i plan on fixing that one day as well as turning her into a capable wheeler.

I had a '87 Blazer when I was in High School. 8 vehicles later and it's still the only one I regret selling. I've been a member at this site for a very long time, however after a long absence I registered under a new name. I don't post because I'm here to learn more about the trucks and really don't have much useful info to offer up. Currently looking at selling my Corvette in favor of a '72 Blazer. Wife agrees we need the truck more, but isn't sold on having a 37 year old Blazer. She just needs more convincing, either that or I'll wear her down enough that she'll just cave in.

Lol, how silly of me, I'm from Kimberly, WI which is in the fox Valley area next to the Fox River, (Appleton Wisconsin) about 30 minutes south of greenbay.

Thanks for the reply ;)
I figured you were in Wisconsin. I'm about 60 miles North of Green Bay. A small town on Hwy 32 North of Suring, called Breed.

Toylet

Hey guys I just started this membership to get some chevy info. I've got an 86 4runner (GULP) it's on a 3" body and 6" susp lift and 38 TSL's. Love it but not enough power, thus the reason I'm on here. 350 swap! Already got the nv4500 trans, and plan on a 205 and keeping the stock toys till the get trashed then going with dana 60 front and gm 14 bolt rear. My problem is I need it to be smog legal, basically 86 or later. I'd prefer carb b/c less wiring, but most of my research tells me fuel injection started in 87 and that slims my choices. I know FI is better for wheeling but also more expensive and another computer . Thanks for any help guys
