Just finished signing up! Like the format of the site... Have a 84 K10 and just picked up a 87 V20.
Hoping to find a cheap Blazer/Jimmy at some point to use a fulltime trail rig. I've owned several 73-87 GM trucks over the past 10 years. Needless to say it's become quite an addiction.
I'll post some pics after I build up my post count...

Hey everyone nick name Jäger at least that's what everybody calls me old U.S.N nickname I live in ballard, ut and have a 79' K5 for my project I've had it for 3 yars and just getting around to starting on it tryin 2 find a motor 2 rebuild 350 4bolt, k5 has 4speed w/ np205 and 10 bolts front/rear, wanna upgrade 14bolt rear d60 front w/np203 doubler

Thanks, its a nice small town but people are stingy with there square bodys lol hard 2 find parts now that the wrecking yard scrapped all the vehicles might make a trip to slc 2 go d'rape up some parts at the pick n pull

Hey guys, I too have been lurking for a while. I have PM'd a few members and gotten great responses. Ive been learning alot about my 87' suburban. So before I make my first help me post I thought I would stop in and say Hello!. Im a VW guy at heart but have a soft spot for lifted suburbans/blazers, 73-79 f-series, and late 70s to pre-91 crew cab duallys body dropped and laying frame.

My name is Oscar, i'm from El Paso, Texas. I have recently built a 79 k5 for my younger brother and did alot of damage control on a 87 k5 that my older bought for a steal. All with the help of my bothers and reference from this site. Now it's my turn, i just got a 90 ck5 for 150.00 bucks. no drivetrain, no seats. everything else stock no rust anywhere!!!!! Since i teach myself everything about my rigs and learned so much from this site i decided to join and maybe be of some help.
