Even though its a ford i still think its a great lookin rig and you should start a thread on it. This isnt the place everyone will rag on you for having one. Theres jeeps, isuzus, etc on here and as long as its a good ride you like wheelin, your a good guy in our books :thumb:
 
Thanks man, I can tell this place isnt another Pirate haha we all share a common intrest an there is no need to bash on others for what they like.Glad to see a real good group of guys with class, Ill start up a build as soon as i have something good to show in it haha
 
Ahoy, good folks! FNG from Nebraska here.. I've been lurking for a few years now off and on between here and Pirate- Thought I might as well create an account. I've gathered a whole lot of info from this site and others and just wanted to say thanks! Here's to learning more! Just sold my old rearend to member 78SWB, hopefully we can go out and enjoy his new detroit soon!

Finally the goods. Too bad they're nothing too special, but it is what it is! I built this from a stock M1028. It's still got the crappy 6.2, and now that each wheel/tire weighs damn near 150#, I need a better mill now more than ever!

I don't know if I have the patience to make a whole build thread... I can however post a few pics of some of the highlights! Most of it isn't anything people haven't seen lol.
 
Also thanks for the kind words guys! I have a cadillac 500 that I'm thinking about putting in it since the 6.2 is so anemic. Surely that would wake it up ;)

The front clip being as clean as it is was the number one selling point for me. These grills are super hard to find, the original molds where lost in a factory fire years ago so they are said to be the ghost grills nowadays :waytogo:
 
new to forum AND new to Chevy...

Hey all,

I've always driven a jeep but in the past 6 months it has been hit 3 times... So I figured it was time to take the hint and move on. I always said the only other ride I would roll would be a k5 so imagine my surprise when a '76 popped up on craigslist.... In my very neighborhood!

It met all my requirements: 4spd manual, running & driving daily, black.... And in my price range. So I bought it. And you May consider me a convert. Even a mopar girl knows there's nothing quite like a chevy 350.

I've had it a few weeks. It needs a lot of work but for what I paid I'm pretty happy.

Can't wait to dig around in here and learn this thing!!!!!
