Introductions & Greetings

Hi guys, I posted here a while back without owning a off road rig. Well I'm pleased to announce I am now the owner of a new to me 1988 K-5. It's mostly all original and the PO was the original owner.
I'll post up some pics when I get access to my laptop.

Not so new newbie

Hey all,

My name is Steve and I recently purchased my third K5 Blazer. This one is an '87 (the newest I've owned) and came all blacked out with a 4" lift and 35x14.5 (yes 14.5) SS Boggers on it. The tires are going to be changed soon since this is my hunting/play truck and a two hour drive is going to be rough on that wide of a tire.

Anyway I've been using the forum the past few weeks to help out with certain issues the truck has and the forums have helped quite a bit. Figured I'd join up because I know I'll be needing to find parts and such down the road. She's not perfect but she is a good solid start. I'll try and get pics up soon.

Thnks.

Hi

picture.php
Hi all my name is Brian I’m new here. I got a 1975 blazer 350 4X4 with 37's about 1 year ago. it is a real fixer up lol. So have been just working on getting it to be a reliable driver before I start on the body. But that came to a haut when I went on deployment. So now all I get to do is look at parts and plan on what to do when I get home. My shop is filling up with parts for when I get home. Looking forward to getting some advise on stuff.

new guy here, tried a few other forums and just didnt get the normal forum feel with them. hoping i can get more interaction here even though i dont live in colorado. i have a 91 satin black k5. havent had her long enough o rip into or wheel yet (been busy moving and such) but i plan on keeping her forever if i can.

Welcome. This forum is world wide. Hasn't been a just Colorado thing for a long time.

thanks! i figured as much with all the different locations ive seen on peoples profiles. this forum pops up in search more than any of the others so i figured it was time to give this one a shot haha

This is definitely the place to be. :waytogo:

I'm usually not a fan of the flat black look, but yours appears to be done right. I like it.

Hello from Kansas

Hello to everyone! Ive been lurking around the site for a few months now and picked up a 79 Chevy yesterday on the cheap so I decided i should join. Ive had a few 4x4s in the past but always end up selling them for something else then buying another later on down the road, I guess its kind of an addiction so to speak lol. Not sure what the plans are for this truck yet, its either going to be a beater or a full on restoration, I think the beater part sounds more fun :D

Newton huh? Is that old "speed shop" gas station still open East of the Interstate?

Hills Performance?? Nope it shut down a long time ago, the shop is still there but vacant now. I know one of the guys that owned it retired.
