Introductions & Greetings

New to the Chevy K series family

My name is Kevin, I live in Alabaster Alabama and just purchesed a 1985 K5 CUCV M1009 Blazer 6.2 L diesel. I have always wanted to restore one but I'm not an auto mechanic so I'm learning as I go... Scary right!! I've replace the starter, fuel filter and pump(that was a nightmare). replace U joint CV joints for 4wd, installed a new dash instrament cluster. added 33x12.50x15. still got lots to do, it was in bad shape except for engine and tranny. I'm sure Ill be asking yall alot of questions..:woot:

Some of you guys may know me already, but for those of you that don't I am Wes. I own Classic Heartbeat Pickup Parts and yes a 72 K-5 Blazer that I have had for over 25 years. Keep your eyes on our site, because we have some exciting things coming out for the first gen Blazers. I look forward to talking to you guys. WES

I would like my money returned.

I have not been able to post questions.
What good is this service if you can not offer help.
Jim

Try using the app on a smart phone if you have one. It seems more intuitive than the web site.

New member first post, Love CK5

I have been a member for over a year, Been reading lots of good info on here, but this is my 1st post. I have an 81 K5 doing a ground up nut/bolt restoration resto mod on it. 6L LS 4L80E 35" tires 4" lift. And my daily driver is a 91 K5 in immaculate original condition, like driving a brand new one. And my work rig is an 87 Burb 31" tires 2 in lift, way rough around the edges put purrs like a kitten.

Thanks for all the great info!

Hey from Wayland Michigan

My name is Ryan and I am a long time fan of squares. I'm 18 years old and iv had squares around my whole life. Grew up plowing long winter nights in my dad's 85,83,87 chevy silverados. My first trip to the silver lake sand dunes was with my oldest brother ray and he had a rusted out suburban. You couldn't even drive over bumps without the body slapping the frame. And just before we left he let me drive it. And that's when my love for burbans was born lol. Bought a 1990 suburban here just a few years back and it's one of those never ending projects. Iv done all the work to it myself from the headers to the full paint job. Even the airbrushing. I have big plans for it this winter. It's lifted four inches with just a stock tbi 350(as of now ;). 33in tires and a charcoal gray paint job. It's a ton of fun and I couldn't be happier with it. Now about me personally I am a diesel technician(taking classes starting in January) and have been working on semis sense I was 12 years old and it's my favorite thing. Work isn't really work fore and when I'm not wrenching on semis I'm always tinkering with my traxxas rc car.
