Intrument panel harness adapter

Kinda hoping that someone has come up with a 'neat' way to connect the stock instrument panel plug (on the harness side) with another plug, to make wiring aftermarket gauges a little easier. Gotta be something easier/neater than splicing into all those wires, or cutting the plug off and putting another plug(s) on.

Have you looked at Painless Wiring? I think they have a kit to wire up aftermarket gauges.
