I'm planning to hardwire an Android tablet into my console that requires 12v ac for the docking station. I'm looking to attach the inverter pasted below to the back of my console to power this tablet and provide rear power/USB ports. It comes with direct battery connect and lighter plug cables. I want this to power on and off with the ignition, which my lighter socket does not (always on).
I will have 4ga wire from battery to the rear to supply power to 2 amps. I would like to tap into this supply to feed the inverter, but again want it to switch off with the truck. It's there such a thing as a switched power distribution block I could use? Or would I be safe directly wiring into an acc slot in the fuse box since it offers the lighter outlet connectivity option? Any insight appreciated to see this vision through and keep it safe

You have to know how many amps the 12v feed uses. If your acc feed is fused to cover it, you're good. If not, use that acc to power up a relay that is hooked to battery with a circuit breaker rated to cover the draw on the inverter.
