IR ratchet

never owned IR, sorry..... they do seem to have A LOT of repair centers, maybe one of them could help you? did you electronically register it or anything?

I found the reciept,looks like I have to send it to either Spokane or Seattle to have it repaired.

I've been running mine like crazy and I love it.

Been beating the piss out of mine and it is still going strong!! The free gloves are holding up too:)
 
I have a IR that has lasted over 8 years without a single problem. You must have just received a bad like Dude said.
 
IR makes the best quality pneumatic tools, and snap on is right up there, but you have to buy the top line tools. They also make cheaper tools for big box stores, but alot of people have good luck with those too. In my shop, 90% of our impact guns and ratchets are IR and the other 10% are snap on.

You must have gotten very unlucky,

I own 2 IR impacts, two die grinders, a needle scaler and so far have had nothing but good luck with them...
