well i went on a local x-mas tree run yesterday and got to test the iroks and new front detroit in the snow and ice. they worked awesome:D the iroks stopped way way better in the ice then my old tsl's did:D they also performed very well on packed and fresh snow:D all in all i am very happy with them. the front detroit worked awesome as well but we already knew it would:D

obviously you think wider is better, does that mean you love wide women as well:thinking: ..... ?:wink1:

:p: :D ahhh, just playin

theres a member of a local off road club that has some on his bronco. there a nice lookin tire and they worked out great in the snow, ice, mud slush that we were wheelin in. i might get a set for my blazer.

i like mine in the snow, we went and played in some 2-4 foot deep stuff and they put my truck in the lead with 36's and i would run off and leave everybody cause i could break the trail faster than averyone could keep up with me.

I weigh 133 lbs. Wide women are out of the question.

How are they wearing? Do you get much street time on them? I hear they wear quickly if used on the street.....

well some of us people with little lift like the narrower tires and are glad they are not wide like all the others:D
Exactly! I almost wish they made the 36's skinnier, id consider them if they did.

mine are driven on the street as my blazer is my daily driver i have had them almost a year now and they are wearing very well:D with about 15,000 on them they are still at about 70-75% tread:D

Are your tires bias or radials?

What width rims are you running? As I recall you were running stock rims :dunno:

Just wondering because I am running the 36x13.50x15 Iroks on a 15x8 rim and they crown quite a bit. I am gonna try a lower air pressure, but am wondering if changing to a wider rim would be better. Saw you say that you had 15,000 miles on yours with good results which is the other reason I am asking you.

jesus, how tall are you? im 6' 2'', and 160. i thought i was skinny
Im 6' 1" and I weight 145, I havent gotten any taller since high school but ive gained weight. When i graduated my senior year I was 6-1 and 130.

Do they looked crowned at that pressure? Not sure what I'm getting at here....but my thought is that even if they look crowned to the eye, that if they are aired to the right psi the contact patch will be across the width of the tread despite looking crowned at the top.... :dunno: hard to explain :1zhelp:

And what it comes down to I don't want to have to pay more money to swap rims, my 15x8"s are pretty new and all.
