IROKs vs paddles in snow vid

Doesn't sound like a 6.2 at all, and doesn't seem to mind the rev's either. I noticed with both sets of tires you had better results choosing a taller gear and going for a bit of wheelspeed...

Great vid as usual!!

prob stright pipes or glass packs. had a local guy here that had a 6.2 that was like that. didnt sound right also. but was a 6.2 for sure. :eek1:

and wheel speed is a good thing in snow for sure. and a strong built motor that dont mind revving all the time and staying there for a bit to keep the wheel speed up were it should be.

Cool video!

I've asked him about that earlier. It sure doesn't sound like it, but it's just a stock 6.2
I think he had dual exhausts with glasspack muffler though.

I'll definitely copy that when I replace my leaking stock mufflers...

Cool video. Alittle off topic, how does your friends Sugga axles hold up to 42" tires? Those are neat 4x4's.

Yes the 6.2 is stock except for the dual 3" straight through mufflers.
And the sugga axles are rather strong but not as strong as a 60 with 35-splines I think.
The guy with the sugga sold that one now but the guy with 44" boggers and 472 cadillac engine has his rig on sugga axles and frame.
No one of them broke any axles yet :wink1:
The suggas axles did not like more water than oil in the diff though
