iron top SM465 in GMT400

Has anyone done this successfully without major modifications? If so, did you have to bend the shifter handle?

Edit: to clarify - does the iron top shifter have enough clearance where it comes through the floor on a gmt400?

I don’t have measurements on the GMT-400 truck interiors but I would assume that it will cause issues since that’s the reason that GM made the different top in the first place - it costs added dollars to redesign parts and big companies avoid that like the plague if at all possible so that means that the change in shifter tower locations was merited.
