My Kid is going to check a used set of this tire in 37 12.5r17 for Saturday. I know these are a Hercules ecno brand, probably made at 1 of the Cooper tire plants Price is pretty dam good @$500, for 4. Not sure if my 77 will have rubbing issues on 17x9 steel wheel, with 4"+ lift and minor front trimming. I figure for this price if their not all cracked to crap I can experiment.
Any experience with these tires ?

I had not heard of them until we had a set of Ironman tires on a Malibu we bought used. Ran them for 40k miles. Not sure how many miles were on them before we got the car.

No idea on their bigger tires. Obviously look at the date on them.

They were a bottom of the barrel cheap tire we put on used cars at the dealer.

Ironman MT is the cheapest mudder you can get. The brodozer broke ass diesel guys put them on everything when their big tire big rim truck needs new rubber they can't afford. Ironically my father in law got a set on his dodge. The local tire guy that sells tires to the coal mines around here goes through tons of them. They are pretty blocky.

I bought a set when they first came out; sold them to a buddy who put them on his JK. ran them for a while and sold the JK.

I would buy another set; so let me know if you hate them

I bought a set of cheap mud tires and they were awful in the snow. Compound was waaay too hard. Had to put it in 4wd way more than normal on snowy streets. More expensive mudtires didn't have an issue.
