Hi all,

I’m considering a DPF delete for my diesel truck and want some honest feedback. I’ve read it can increase performance, reduce soot issues, and save money on maintenance, but I’m wary of emissions violations and potential engine damage.

For those who have deleted their DPF, did you notice real gains, and did your truck remain reliable afterward? Are there any specific kits or programming options you’d recommend? I’m also curious about legal implications and whether it’s possible to stay under the radar for inspections.

Any advice or lessons learned would be extremely helpful.

Appreciate any guidance you can provide, thanks!

Curious what kind of rules they have on Diesels in the UK? So many cars in Europe run on diesel, wish VW didn't screw that up for us. (Also wish I had one pre-scandel lol)

If you still have emissions testing or checking do not do it.
It's almost impossible to get away with it.
If you don't then go ahead, you will not only have better performance but increased mileage too.
