Is a shackle flip beneficial if I'm....

Re: Is a shackle flip beneficial if I\'m....

If I understand it correctly, and you are going to be putting on 8" lift springs on front and rear, no a shackle flip would not be beneficial for you. It would give you way too much rear lift. That is unless you are going for that "hella raked look".

You could put 4 or 6" leaves in the rear if you used the shackle flip (or even a block and stock springs). It will flex better with leaves with less arch but all those parts can get more expensive. 8" springs all around would be cheeper.

8" springs up front + 4" shackle flip + 4" springs out back would be ok. super arched lift springs dont flex for chit, so use the shackle flip and less arched springs.
