hey there all,
a friend of mine just recently parted out a couple of trucks and when i mentioned my auto-locking hubs were dying he set me up with a pair of warn prem. hubs for a case of beer, they are in really good shape but i think they are missing something, give some input, the hub is all there as well as the spring but i think i remember reading in past posts about a retaining clip or something? all i have is the two hub mechs. and no other parts, is something missing?
thanks a lot!
peace.

The retaining clips are already inside your front end. You'll find 'em when you start taking it apart to remove the old hubs.

It's a great day to be alive...

Do you have the internals? You have the mechanism that bolts to the outside of the axle and spring, but you need the internals that ride in the housing with retaining clips. I have never done automatic to mechanical conversions, so I don't know if you can use some of your existing parts or not. Can anyone who's done this clarify.

If you didn't built it yourself, how can you call it yours.......?

yeah those things are all screwed up. I'll send you a couple 40's of schlitz for them! Just for parts you see....lol

If you are missing the clips ore some other small part. You might call Warn. They sell rebuild kits that include some of the small parts. I believe that the clips and screws are included.
