sway bar bracket. Went to go change the bushings and found out that one of the brackets that hold it on in the front is busted. Anyone know where I can get a new one. Cant find any parts trucks arond here locally. Any help?

Just pull the bar off and be done with it...I finally got mine disconnected last week and it rides better on and off road. I plan on completely removing the bar this weekend, i can send u the brackets if you want them.

Yup rides nice , but take a sweeping freeway turn and tell me how you like it when you hit a an expansion joint on said turn :wink1:

anyone know where I can get the bracket! Need it soon before I go back up north for kollege and I dont have many tools up there to use.

I guess it happens. My one bracket on my 84 actually ripped out of the frame somehow. The one side the one bolt just pulled right through the crossmember it bolted to. Always wondering why that thing body rolled and flexed so well for a stock truck.

If your rig is lifted and the drop spacers aren't used you will continue to have problems.

"then you shoulda bought a sports car"

Always that one dumbass comment from some dumbass person.

Because the stock sway bar end move in an arch one direction and the springs move the other, there is alot of force on those cheesy stamped brackets. Best best is to go ORD sway bar dissconnect. They allow the ends to pivot eliminating bind...
