Is it my starter?

I actually got my truck on the road for a few days and mans was that fun! bur now it won't start. i checked both the batteries with a multimeter and they seem to be ok. so when i try to start it it feels like it trys to turn once or maybe a little less. does that sound like my starter? or am i way off? (and while i'm at it, whats the deal with the 2 batteries?

put a load test on the batteries and look at the cables, if there coroded or split you'll have amperage drop that would cause what your describing. if that checks out pull the starter and get it tested.
