I have a 87 K5 350 5.7 TBI. I just replaced the control module and ignition coil. About a week or so later I started geting what seems to me(feels and sounds like, back fire) an out of timed engine or a fouled plug. IT is real noticable at high RPM or when I really step on it. Everyone I have asked says that I do not need to time it, that it could be a vaccum leak or that I need to replace the cap, rotor wires and plugs just to cover the ignition system. Ant suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

bax (I also just replaced the fuel filter)
