is it really that easy to swap 14bolt diffs?

unbolt the axle shafts slide them out
unbolt the retainer clips and bearing caps, adjust side adjusters out
swap diff and bearing races (the race is that right? the chrome looking ring around the bearing under the bearing cap?)
Of course I would have to swap gears and readjust till the patterns match.
Side axles back in and bolt everything back down?

What are some torque specs for the bearing caps and axle shaft bolts and all that fun stuff? I know you use locktight on the ring gear but what about other bolts like the axle shaft bolts?
