Running a D44, 8 inches of lift, I already have the raised steering arm. But I still don't have the proper geometry.

I'm planning on running cross-over in due time, but my friend has this for $30 and it would be nice for now.

Also, would it be stupid to run Grade 8 bolts, rather than studs/nuts? Assuming I'm still using the conical washers.

Steering arm blocks put a TON of leverage on the studs/bolts and it's not a good idea. The best bet is to find a proper dropped pitman arm along with the raised steering arm to get the geometry correct.

I have a Skyjacker 6" raised steering arm. It looks like the 4" arm with the 2" steering block under it but its all one piece casting. I will sell it but we have to take it to PM's due to selling rules not applicable to the Garage.

I would say dropped pitman arm as well. I think they're less than $100 and are worth it to not break a bolt. I have to buy one myself

I was not aware they had drop pitman arms available, I did a quick search and all I found was the raised steering arms?

Anybody have a link?

x2 on the dropped drag link... I have one on the K5 and it makes for some odd steering characteristics...

Dropped drglinks suck the big one I'd never use one again.

As for the block....I've used them before with a raised arm and beat on it pretty hard with no issues Mine have had longer studs not bolts.

IMHO , I'd say Crossover, Pitman Arm/Steering arm,Block/Steering arm,Draglink/steering Arm
