The inner shafts are fine spline, outers are course. 19 sounds right but I'm not sure TBH. Never heard of different spline counts on the stub shafts.

As far as the "Transfer case conversion kit" its a drop bracket to fix the rear shaft angle because the blazer is such a short wheelbase.

Its a half assed fix and dont let anyone tell you any different. Its become common place because people dont like to fork out what it really costs to properly fix it with a CV rear shaft.

yeah 10-4 on that. the transfer case conversion kit was for a full time 4wd, but mine being a 86' has the "better" t-case...so no need. t-case lower kit is what your talking about and you r so right...it doesn't lower it at all..it TILTS it! crap! i think i found what i wanted...mile marker 302. should be strong enough for the light wheeling i do. i search some posts here and should be pull out auto hubs..pop in M.Marker...yes? (well i know its more to it than that but you dig?)

You have 19 spline outers on your 10 bolt front end. Wouldn't be a Dana 44 unless someone swapped it in.

Milemarker is crap. Spend the extra cheese and get some Warm Premiums. Not a heck of a lot more and should last you until you go crazy and grind them against rocks or are super duper rock crawling and they explode. So for most of us, forever.

Exactly.

Personally I've got warn non premiums on my truck with a dana 44 front end and havent had issues. Then again I havent wheeled it hard.

And yes manual hubs will pop right in place of autos. Hell they'll even pop in place of 203 tcase truck driveslugs BUT the front shaft will still spin in them and you're suppose to use a part time kit.

If the axle is original to the truck then it is a 10 bolt axle and has 28 spline inner axles and 19 spline outer stub shafts.
