This is what my dad told me my dad has had the blazer for 15 years and now it's mine I love this beast so is it true the 1977 the 2wd blazer is a rare blazer to find with only 77k miles on it has not turned over yet??0

I wouldn't go so far as to call it rare. less common that its 4wd counter part for sure. but not exactly rare. I personally know of a handful of them around here. 1 just down the block from me.

soooooo somme people say it is rare and some of you say its not.....im still stuck in the same boat i was in when i posted lmao

i define rare as this:

there is only a few or less on craigslist in your town and they are ARE out of your price range.

there are 4 or 5 of them here, all in nice fixed up or custom..but they have been on the market for months, one I swear has been on there for a year. They are priced between 5k-23k

something is only worth what someone is willing to pay

I know of one, coinsidentally its in my home town, primer red but the body is in good shape. Tryed to get the guy to sell it to me but he wants to fix it up for his son. So maybe Ill get it in 4 or 5 years when the kid wraps it around a tree or something...that is if he drives the truck like he does his go-cart

Haha yeah maybe I can't find them cause no one wants to sell them maybe that's why lmao I'm in the process of gutting it and fixing the body cause I'm getting a 383 stroker for it

I'd say a '77 with only 77k actual miles (if that's true) is rare in itself. where as everyone on Criagslist may have turned over numerous times with 4 or 5 different motors in it.

Being a 2wd makes it even more so i'd say. I haven't really looked for them but finding a 2wd one here doesn't happen very often

I'm just sayin for my area. My area also consists of 600 people  :haha:

I wouldn't say rare, but certainly uncommon. I had a 2wd '79 and I miss it dearly, I never should have sold it. It was a base model with 250 inline six, th350 and originally had 16x5 steel wheels. Only seen two (in person) since I sold it.

Rare I have to say non there are a ton of 2wd blazers in CA for sale right now on craigslist. Few here in Az it all depends on where you live. So I would say in the rust belt states they are going to be considered rare.
