Is There A Easy Way To Gain An Extra Inch Of Lift????

My 86K5 has 4"suspension lift and 2" body lift. I am in the middle of putting a 14bolt SF on it and changing the front diff. Is there a cheap and simple way of adding another inch of lift some how. Its time for rims and tires I want to run 38's.

Also, IF you go with 38's I would suggest getting a D60 front along with your 14BFF if you wheel it much because you will probably have problems with a D44 or 10B. WIth one tone gear that will raise you one inch just from the bigger axle tubes and different spring perches. I would also add the zero rates too if you really wan't 38's.

They say there not blocks but they look like blocks.
I already have blocks in the rear could i still use the zero rates.???????? What about a add a leaf??
ROUGH COUNTRY makes a add a leaf kit would that be ok??
I dont off road its just a pavement pounder.

Sounds like you need to do a shackle flip you'll gain lift and loss the blocks. Do a search on shackle flips and read up.

zero rates, or ditch the block and go with the 57" springer setup, shackle flip, homemade shackle reversal..etc.. all those will make the truck ride better.. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
