whats the diffrence between the normal small lockrings compared to the big ones? is it just cosmetic? depends on make? or are there pros and cons to running a certian style? will letting water sit in the lip of the rim do any harm in terms of rust and will water that lays inbetween the ring and and rim have any effect while it touches the tire sitting inbetween the 2?

the beigger rings help keep rocks out too. someone here had the wide rings with a snap in center so no mud could get in then pop it out to change the tire. i'v seen small rings get bent on a sammy with 33's so i went with kerts on my 38's for mine.
