i know its probably on here sumwhere and ive surched and surched. i have sum problems with my back and im lookin for sum suspension seats for my k5. i would like to have sum the recline so people an get in the back and not have to climb across my seats.

is there a good suspension seat that i could by for around 300 bucks?

yea id love to have a set of those seats but i just cant afford 4 or 5 hundred bucks for a seat. i probably need to with my back problems. ima keep lookin but im probably gona end up keepin my stock seats or sum sort of non suspension seats.

If you got a back problem you cant afford not to invest in a good seat.....medical bills/lost wages/lost opportunities will be way more than a couple of hundred to upgrade a seat...just my 2c

Check PRP and Corbeau...both have seats in the $200 range or less. PRP also has a monstrous selection of fabrics and colors.

Look under product reviews on the CK5 home page for the link to PRP. Corbeau comes up first in a google search for suspension seats. The Baja SS is quite affordable IMO.

I don't know what sort of fabrication skills you have (or have access to) but a non-recliniing seat could certainly be made to tilt forward by coming up with a non-standard floor mounting scheme. The J**p seats do that I believe...the entire seat base lifts and rotates forward to allow access to the rear seat. You wouldn't need a reclining seat, just a more custom mount for it.

This is how the ramcharger seats are mounted factory. Id get the floor brackets from a dodge ramcharger and have at it. The whole seat tilts forward, doesn't lift though.

the seats in a 99-2005ish late model vw hatchback also rotate up and move forward. The seat dimensions are very similar to a early k5 as well. I'm contemplating mounting my old style seats on the new bracketry. :)

I have these .Great suspension seat for the $$

I asked this b4 and didnt get much response. Will any of the suspension seats fit the OEM brackets , Ive got the pass. that tilts up and the drivers just slides. Id like to add some reclining suspension seats.
