if i trim/remove the fenders and run the tire size i want (without lifting the truck), would i still benefit from cross-over steering?

Is x-over just for when your stock steering won't reach anymore?

I think it would still benefit when you are flexed out in the front. I only have 2.5" lift and often get in a spot where I can't turn the wheels because the steering is maxed out.

It would take some work to do on a truck with no lift. You'd need to do what BadDog did in this little writeup: http://coloradok5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=155838

Crossover steering is so the draglink stays the same length during the whole range of suspension travel . Allowing you to turn the wheels at any time .
